This “Xiaozhi Aibo Privacy Policy” (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) aims to explain to you how we collect, use, store, share, and transfer your personal information, as well as how you can access, update, control, and protect such information when you use our products and services.

1. Definitions

Sensitive Personal Information: Personal information that, if leaked, illegally provided, or misused, may endanger personal and property safety, or lead to damage to personal reputation, physical and mental health, or discriminatory treatment. This includes network identification information (account name, nickname, and password), contact list, phone number, location information, and Browse history.


2. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We only collect and use your personal information for the purposes described in this Policy:

2.1 Helping You Register as a Xiaozhi Aibo User

2.1.1 When registering with a mobile number, you need to provide your mobile number and password (encrypted). We will send a verification code to verify your identity to complete account creation and provide registration services.

2.1.2 You can choose to register and log in with a third-party account (e.g., WeChat). We will collect the personal information you authorize (e.g., avatar, nickname) and bind it to your Xiaozhi Aibo account. Refusal to provide this information will not affect other functions, only the ability to use third-party login.

2.1.3 The mobile number is used to meet network real-name requirements. Failure to provide it may prevent you from using registration services, but it will not affect basic functions.

Special Note: If the user is under 14 years old, operations require the consent of a guardian.

2.2 Improving Products or Services

We may collect your feedback from customer service, survey responses, or information authorized when interacting with affiliates and partners, and associate it with device information to optimize our services.

2.3 Providing Security Guarantees

To ensure service security, we may collect information regarding abnormal account activity, multi-device logins, and abnormal traffic to prevent risks. This information is necessary for the normal operation of our services.

2.4 Providing Content Publishing Services

When publishing images or text, we will request access to your photo album and camera. You can refuse authorization, which will only prevent you from using related functions but will not affect other services.


3. How We Use Cookies and Privacy Data

To ensure the normal operation of services and enhance the user experience, we store small data files such as Cookies on your device. These files save information such as registered accounts and encrypted passwords, and are used for traffic statistics and page design analysis. Cookies are only used for the purposes stated in this Policy.

We have detailed the types of personal information collected and applicable scenarios. When you use specific functions, we will collect sensitive information only after obtaining your consent. Refusal to provide sensitive information will only affect the use of related functions and will not restrict other services. To protect your privacy, sensitive permissions (such as location, camera, storage, etc.) are all based on the “enable after authorization” principle, meaning we will not enable these permissions by default or force them.

Our app uses accelerometer sensor information to enable landscape and portrait screen switching.

During the normal use of the app, some user-related data will be generated, such as basic application information, application running logs, entry/exit records, user favorite content, feedback and customer support information, text messages, and user identifiers.

Special Note: Users under 14 years old need to obtain guardian consent when applying to use sensitive permissions such as camera and location.

Types of data collected: Device Mac address, unique device identifier (IMEI/android ID/IDFA/OPENUDID/IP address/GUID), SIM card IMSI information, device serial number (SN), software installation list, geographical location

Special Note:

The third-party SDKs mentioned above may change information due to version upgrades, policy adjustments, etc. Please refer to their official latest policies.

You can revoke authorization for third-party SDKs through device system settings or by contacting our customer service. After revocation, we will no longer provide relevant information to them, but this may affect the use of corresponding functions.


5. How We Protect and Store Your Personal Information

We employ security technologies and procedures to protect your information, but due to technical limitations, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. The systems and networks you use may also pose risks.

We conduct security training for our employees, implement access controls, and sign confidentiality agreements with employees and partners who have access to information. In the event of a security incident, we will promptly inform you in accordance with laws and regulations and take remedial measures.

You can contact us to delete your personal information. We will delete or anonymize it when services cease. If a guardian requests the deletion of a minor’s information, we will complete the data cleanup within 10 working days and notify you of the processing results via email or SMS.

You can obtain a copy of your personal information.

You can withdraw authorization through device settings, which will not affect prior information processing.

You can contact us to cancel your account, and your information will be deleted or anonymized.


7. Protection of Minors

Age and Guardian Consent

We presume users under 14 years old are minors. If you are under 14 years old, please ensure you read this Policy with a guardian, and before using our services, your guardian must confirm consent through the following methods:

Online Verification: Guardians need to complete identity verification through methods such as facial recognition or ID card information verification.

Other Methods: Submit guardian identification and consent statement via customer service phone or email.

Information Processing Rules

We will not process personal information of minors under 14 years old (including account registration, use of sensitive permission features, etc.) without the separate consent of a guardian.

Processing of Already Collected Information: If we inadvertently collect personal information of users under 14 years old without guardian consent, we will immediately delete the relevant data and cease providing services.

Guardian Rights

Guardians have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information of minors.

Guardians can withdraw consent and request us to stop processing relevant information through customer service channels.
